These are all solid pieces. I was expecting the tricep rope to be of low quality and/or with frayed threads. I was wrong. Placing it in my hands for the first time brought immediate shock in construction and weight of it. All three were also a great value packaged together.

And the quality of everything included is great. I have no complaints about anything in this package. The knurling on the handles/bar is good. It’s consistent and not overly aggressive. The welds are clean, well done and there is little to no spatter around the welds. The finish is great with no chips, rust or damage. There were no rough edges or sharp edges on anything i received. The swivel in the center of the bar turns freely. The rope is well made and it fits in your hands nicely. Not too big or small. The plastic ends seem to be of good quality and will definitely hold up to regular use. I would recommend this kit to anyone looking expand or upgrade your cable pulley options.

I bought these to supplement my Marcy MWM 988 home gym and would say they’re a necessary set for any good home gym. I also bought a set of stainless snap clips so I had extra because the two that come with the set isn’t really enough. Overall I think they are well constructed with smooth surfaces and don’t cut into your hands. I would recommend adding just a touch of grease (I used white lithium) to the pulldown bar because as it rotates in the attachment point it’s very dry and rough. There’s a hole in the attaching point where I stuck the nozzle of the grease tube and put just a touch inside. That really smoothed out the operation of the bar. Overall, a great set for a great price and worth your consideration.

I bought a home gym machine that I can use to do a full body work out, but I did not have the handles , rope and bar to attach to the home gym machine.
